Brooke Bergeson | Founder & Head Coach

Brooke Bergeson is the founder of Orca Strength Collective, a two-time national champion, CrossFit competitor, and highly respected strength and conditioning coach. With a degree in Exercise Science and Nutrition and more than a decade of coaching experience, Brooke has helped hundreds of athletes — from first-time trainees to seasoned competitors — achieve breakthroughs in performance, health, and confidence.

As a mom of three busy kids, Brooke understands what it’s like to love training but also feel pulled in a million directions. That perspective shapes the way she coaches: realistic, results-driven, and designed to fit into real lives. Her favorite part of the job isn’t just seeing people get stronger — it’s watching them gain confidence, prioritize themselves, and build relationships that last.

Her athletic background is matched only by her coaching philosophy: precision matters, personalization is non-negotiable, and accountability drives results. While Brooke has consistently ranked among the top athletes worldwide in her division, her true passion lies in helping others change their lives, building relationships, one training session at a time.

Coaching Philosophy

At Orca Strength Collective, I believe fitness is about more than workouts—it’s about living a life you’re proud of. I love the CrossFit methodology because it builds athletes for life: strong, capable, confident, and ready for whatever comes their way.

I want my kids—and my clients—to move well through life, to not be afraid to try new things, and to feel what it’s like to be truly athletic again. Many of the people I coach once played sports and miss that feeling of being strong, fast, and fearless. Life got busy, but you can get that back.

My philosophy is simple:

  • Position before performance. Moving well comes first. Getting hurt and ending up sidelined isn’t the goal.

  • Lift heavy. Build real strength.

  • Train with intensity. Push hard when it matters.

  • Recover smart. Listen to your body and rest when it needs it.

  • Eat well. Fuel your body to perform.

  • Move outside the gym. Play, explore, live.

  • Prioritize sleep. The ultimate recovery tool.

  • Stay mobile. Move pain-free for life.

I love working with energy-givers—people who work hard, want accountability, and like to laugh. If you bring effort (not excuses), I’ll meet you with coaching, accountability, and a community that has your back. I don’t care if your goal is to lose fat, build muscle, or just feel like an athlete again. If you’re willing to show up and put in the work, I want to work with you.

Why Pods Work

In nature, orcas thrive in pods because they are faster, stronger, and more strategic together. The same is true here. Pods are intentionally small — designed to deliver the attention of personal training while harnessing the accountability and energy of a team.

Your coach leads with precision. Your pod drives you further. The result: faster progress, deeper commitment, and long-term transformation.
